Click-Together Name Set

A tile for each letter of a name with the letter standing up on it, lines running round inside each letter, and a rounded end at each end. The tiles click together, so letters can be swapped round. Prints flat on its back, no supports.

Customise it in your browser, then download a print-ready STL, or a multi-colour 3MF. No CAD skills needed.

About the Click-Together Name Set

A click-together name set: a tile for each letter with the letter standing up on it, lines running round inside each letter, and a rounded end at each end. The tiles click together with a little split arrow, so a long name doesn’t need a long plate, and the letters can be swapped round.

What you download

An STL or 3MF for any slicer.

Printing it

Each tile prints lying on its back with no supports, the letter face up. Press each tile’s arrow into the slot in the one before until it clicks. Loose clicks pull apart again with a firm tug, so letters can be swapped round. Small parts: not a toy, keep away from small children.

Questions

Does it need supports?

No. Each tile prints lying on its back with the letter face up, so the lines are its top layers and the clip lies flat on the bed.

How do the tiles go together?

Each tile has a split arrow on its left side that pushes into a slot in the tile before it until it clicks. Pick loose clicks if you’d like to take them apart again and swap letters round.

Can each letter be a different colour?

Yes. Every tile is its own piece, so turn on a different colour for each tile and print them in turn, or a plate at a time. No AMS needed.

Is it a toy?

No. It’s a decoration for a shelf or desk. The pieces are small, so keep them away from small children.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs, for as long as your membership is active: if it ends, stop selling them. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
