Name Bracelet

Square tiles with a letter of the name on each and hearts, stars or dots either side, linked by print-in-place joints so it prints in one bendy piece. Sized to the wrist, it ties on with cord or ribbon.

Customise it in your browser, then download a print-ready STL, or a multi-colour 3MF. No CAD skills needed.

About the Name Bracelet

A name bracelet that prints in one piece: square tiles linked by print-in-place joints, a letter of the name on each and hearts, stars or dots on the tiles either side, long enough to go round the wrist. It comes off the plate bendy, and ties on with cord, elastic or ribbon through the loops at its ends.

Name Bracelet: a customisable 3D print, shown at its starting settings

What you can change

  • Type your own name or word.
  • Make one, or a whole batch at once: paste a list of names and get one each.
  • On the other tiles: hearts, stars, dots and nothing.
  • Font: 30 to choose from, from script to stencil.
  • Colours: one tile colour, two tile colours in turn and rainbow tiles.
  • Pick the tile, second tile and letters colours.
  • Adjust wrist size, tile size, thickness and joint clearance, and more.
  • Turn on or off: in capitals.

What you download

An STL for any slicer, and a 3MF with each colour as its own part, ready for an AMS or a filament change.

Printing it

Prints flat and comes off the plate bendy, in one piece: if the joints are stuck, flex each one gently, and next time set the clearance a little higher (the Flexi Critter test print finds yours). Thread cord, elastic or ribbon through the loops at the ends and tie it on. Not a toy: small parts.

Questions

How do I get the size right?

Measure round the wrist and add a little: the bracelet is made that long, and the tie lets you adjust it.

The joints are stuck: what now?

Flex each joint gently and it should free up. If they’re still stuck, print the Flexi Critter test and set the clearance it suggests.

Is it a toy?

No: it’s a bracelet with small parts, so keep it away from small children.

Do I need a multi-colour printer?

No. Print it in one colour, or in colours with a filament change: the Colours line under the 3D view says at which height to change. With an AMS or another multi-colour printer, the 3MF prints it in one go.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs, for as long as your membership is active: if it ends, stop selling them. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
