What you can change

Type your own dog's name.
Make one, or a whole batch at once: paste a list of names and get one each.
Font: 26 to choose from, from script to stencil.
Round the lid: little bones, paw prints, stars, snowflakes and plain.
Pick the pot and lid and handle colours.
Adjust inside, across and height.
Turn on or off: words round the pot (in two lines if there are two words or more) instead of up it, A carry handle on the lid, A clip tab on the lid and A printed plastic clip for the tab.

What you download

An STL for any slicer, and a 3MF with each colour as its own part, ready for an AMS or a filament change.

Printing it

All three parts print without supports: the pot standing up, the lid upside down, the handle flat. Push the handle’s feet into the slots in the lid’s top (a dab of glue makes it permanent). The lid twists on in a turn and a half. The plastic clip prints flat: press its gate in to hook it through the tab, and again to hook it onto a bag strap or belt loop. Wash by hand: PLA softens in a dishwasher.

Questions

Is it food safe?

Use it for dry treats. 3D prints have tiny gaps between layers that are hard to clean, so wash it by hand and let it dry, and don’t use it for wet food.

Will the lid come off on a walk?

It screws on a turn and a half with a deep thread, so it holds tight but opens quickly with one twist.

Do I need a multi-colour printer?

No. Print it in one colour, or in colours with a filament change: the Colours line under the 3D view says at which height to change. With an AMS or another multi-colour printer, the 3MF prints it in one go.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
