About the T-Spacers

A set of T-shaped spacers, one for each gap you need, each stem exactly that wide, with its size raised on the cross bar. The bar rests on the edge and the stem drops into the gap, so tiles, clay pieces, panels or anything else end up evenly spaced.

What you can change

• Adjust stem length, cross bar width, cross bar height and thickness.
• Turn on or off: size raised on the bar.

What you download

An STL or 3MF for any slicer.

Printing it

Prints flat with no supports. The stems are drawn to size, so print with your slicer's usual settings: no elephant's foot compensation needed for a 2 mm or wider stem.

Ideas for using it

• Even grout lines when tiling a splashback.
• Spacing polymer clay pieces evenly on a tray.
• Setting gaps between panels or boards while glue sets.
• Checking a gap’s width: whichever stem fits.

Questions

How accurate are the sizes?

The stems are drawn to size across the plate, which printers do accurately. Check one with calipers; if they’re all a touch wide or narrow, your slicer’s horizontal expansion setting fixes it.

Can I make other sizes?

Type any sizes from 0.8 to 30 mm, comma-separated, and choose how many of each.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs, for as long as your membership is active: if it ends, stop selling them. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
