A knitting needle and crochet hook gauge: a plate with a hole for each size, labelled in millimetres and, if you like, US knitting sizes, with a hanging hole and a 2 inch / 5 cm window along the bottom for counting stitches in a swatch.

What you can change

• Type your own sizes.
• Stitch-counting window: 2 inch and 5 cm, 2 inch, 5 cm and none.
• Pick its colour.
• Adjust holes across, extra room in each hole and thickness.
• Turn on or off: US knitting sizes under the mm.

What you download

An STL or 3MF for any slicer.

Printing it

Prints flat with no supports. Holes print a touch small on most printers: check a known needle, and raise the extra room if it won't go through its own size.

My needle won’t go through its size

Holes print slightly small on most printers. Raise the extra room a little, or check against a needle you know.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs, for as long as your membership is active: if it ends, stop selling them. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
