Diamond Painting Multi-Placer Tips

Multi-placer tips for diamond painting pens: pick up 3, 5, 7 or 10 drills in a row, a 2 × 2 or 3 × 3 square, or an L, to fill big areas fast. A cup per drill holds the wax, for square or round drills on your canvas’s grid, with a shank sized to your pen.

Customise it in your browser, then download a print-ready STL, or a multi-colour 3MF. No CAD skills needed.

About the Diamond Painting Multi-Placer Tips

Multi-placer tips that pick up several drills at once: three, five, seven or ten in a row, a square, or an L shape, for filling big areas of one colour fast. Each tip has a cup per drill to hold the wax, spaced to your canvas’s grid, and a shank sized to fit your pen.

What you can change

  • Drills: square drills and round drills.
  • Pick its colour.
  • Adjust drill spacing, shank diameter and shank length.
  • Turn on or off: 3 in a row, 5 in a row, 7 in a row and 10 in a row.

What you download

An STL or 3MF for any slicer.

Printing it

Print with a 0.2 mm nozzle if you have one (or 0.4 mm at 0.12 mm layers), face down, no supports. Measure your pen's socket and set the shank to fit snugly. Press the face into the wax so each cup fills.

Ideas for using it

  • Backgrounds in a fraction of the time.
  • A 3 × 3 tip for big blocks of one colour.
  • A starter set to give away with kits.

Questions

Will it fit my pen?

Measure the pen’s tip socket and set the shank to it; it’s slightly tapered so it pushes in snugly.

Square or round drills?

Choose your drills: the cups and the spacing change to suit (2.5 mm square, 2.8 mm round).

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs, for as long as your membership is active: if it ends, stop selling them. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
