Diamond Painting Canvas Roller Stand

A canvas roller stand for diamond painting: two stands that cradle a dowel or tube at the back of the desk, end caps with a slot to tuck the canvas edge in so finished rows roll up neatly, and spring clips that hold the release paper peeled back. Use your own dowel.

Customise it in your browser, then download a print-ready STL, or a multi-colour 3MF. No CAD skills needed.

About the Diamond Painting Canvas Roller Stand

A roller stand for big diamond painting canvases: two stands hold a dowel or cardboard tube at the back of the desk, end caps grip it with a slot for the canvas’s edge so the finished part rolls up out of the way, and spring clips hold the release paper peeled back while you work.

What you can change

  • Pick its colour.
  • Adjust dowel or tube diameter, stand height, cover clips and fit on the dowel.

What you download

An STL or 3MF for any slicer.

Printing it

Prints flat with no supports. Measure your dowel with calipers. The clips print as open C shapes that snap round the dowel; PETG springs best.

Ideas for using it

  • Working on a 60 × 80 cm canvas at a small desk.
  • Keeping the release paper from flapping back over your work.
  • A tube from kitchen roll as the roller.

Questions

What dowel do I need?

Any dowel or cardboard tube a little wider than the canvas: measure its diameter and set it.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs, for as long as your membership is active: if it ends, stop selling them. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
