Gift Card Tree

A Christmas tree on a base with a slot in front for a gift card or folded notes, like a present under the tree, and a name along the base. A gold star on top, garlands and baubles on the tree.

Customise it in your browser, then download a print-ready STL, or a multi-colour 3MF. No CAD skills needed.

About the Gift Card Tree

A gift card holder that makes a voucher feel like a present: a little Christmas tree with a slot in front for a gift card or folded notes, a star on top and a name along the base. Perfect for teenagers, teachers and anyone tricky to buy for.

Gift Card Tree: a customisable 3D print, shown at its starting settings

What you can change

  • Type your own name on the base.
  • Make one, or a whole batch at once: paste a list of names and get one each.
  • Font: 26 to choose from, from script to stencil.
  • Slot for: A gift card and A card in its sleeve, or folded notes.
  • Pick the tree and base and star and name colours.
  • Adjust letter height and tree height.
  • Turn on or off: garlands and baubles on the tree.

Size

About 12 × 5 × 16.2 cm (width × depth × height), one piece at the starting settings.

What you download

An STL for any slicer, and a 3MF with each colour as its own part, ready for an AMS or a filament change.

Printing it

About 62 g of PLA and about 3 hours 40 minutes to print, one piece at the starting settings (15% infill, 2 walls, 0.2 mm layers, on a Bambu Lab A1). Your slicer gives the exact figures for your printer and settings.

Prints standing on its base with no supports: change colour for the name after the base, back for the tree, and again for the star at the top. A gift card stands in the slot in front of the tree.

Questions

What size card does it take?

A standard gift or bank card (85 × 54 mm), or folded notes.

How many colours does it print in?

Three, with filament changes as it prints: the base and tree in one colour, the name along the base in another, and the star at the top in a third.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

No 3D printer? Can you print it for me?

Yes. Buy it printed from our shop, with your names and colours from the designer, made to order in our UK studio.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
