Gift Card Present Box

A box shaped like a wrapped present for a gift card or notes, its push-on lid with a ribbon, bow and the name inlaid flush in other colours. No supports.

Customise it in your browser, then download a print-ready STL, or a multi-colour 3MF. No CAD skills needed.

About the Gift Card Present Box

A gift card box shaped like a wrapped present: a shallow box sized to a gift card or folded notes and a lid that pushes on flush, with a ribbon across the lid and down its sides, a bow where it crosses and the name, all inlaid flush in other colours.

What you can change

  • Type your own name on the lid.
  • Make one, or a whole batch at once: paste a list of names and get one each.
  • Font: 26 to choose from, from script to stencil.
  • Pick the box and lid, ribbon and bow and name colours.
  • Adjust inside, wide, inside, front to back and inside, deep.

What you download

An STL for any slicer, and a 3MF with each colour as its own part, ready for an AMS or a filament change.

Printing it

Both parts print without supports: the box the right way up and the lid upside down, with the ribbon, bow and name in its first layers (use an AMS, or filament changes). The lid pushes on over the step at the top of the box.

Questions

What fits inside?

A gift card (86 × 54 mm) by default, or set the inside size for folded notes or a small present.

Do I need a multi-colour printer?

It’s best with an AMS. Without one, change filament after the first layers of the lid, or print it in one colour.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
