Christmas Cracker Toys

A little personalised present for each guest's cracker, small enough to fit the tube: a lucky coin with their name, a spinning top with their initial, a flexi snake keyring or a spinner ring.

Customise it in your browser, then download a print-ready STL, or a multi-colour 3MF. No CAD skills needed.

About the Christmas Cracker Toys

Personalised Christmas cracker toys: a little present for each guest that’s small enough to go in the cracker. A lucky coin with their name and the year, a spinning top with their initial, a flexi snake keyring with their name along it, or a spinner ring. Paste in the guest list to print the lot.

Size

About 30 × 30 × 4 mm (width × depth × height), one piece at the starting settings.

What you download

An STL for any slicer, and a 3MF with each colour as its own part, ready for an AMS or a filament change.

Printing it

About 2 g of PLA and about 15 minutes to print, one piece at the starting settings (15% infill, 2 walls, 0.2 mm layers, on a Bambu Lab A1). Your slicer gives the exact figures for your printer and settings.

Small, quick prints for crackers: no supports. The spinning top is two parts: push the disc onto the spindle (grip end first) until it sits on the collar. The flexi keyring prints in place and bends straight off the plate. Small parts: not for under-threes.

Questions

Will they fit in a cracker?

Yes: they’re sized for the inside of a standard cracker tube, about 35 mm across. Make your own crackers, or slip them into the ones you can refill.

Are they safe for children?

They’re small parts, so not for under-threes.

When should I print it for Christmas?

Most of these print in an evening, but give yourself a week or two before Christmas for a whole family’s worth, a colour change or a reprint. If you’re posting them, print by mid-December.

Do I need a multi-colour printer?

No. Print it in one colour, or in colours with a filament change: the Colours line under the 3D view says at which height to change. With an AMS or another multi-colour printer, the 3MF prints it in one go.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
