Personalised Dice and Tray

Dice with rounded edges, pips sunk into five faces and an initial in place of the one, filled in a second colour, and a tray to roll them in with the name on its floor.

Customise it in your browser, then download a print-ready STL, or a multi-colour 3MF. No CAD skills needed.

About the Personalised Dice and Tray

Personalised dice and tray: six-sided dice with rounded edges, pips sunk into five faces and an initial in place of the one, filled flush in a second colour, and a rounded tray to roll them in with the name raised on its floor.

Personalised Dice and Tray: a customisable 3D print, shown at its starting settings

What you can change

  • Type your own on the one face and name on the tray.
  • Font: 26 to choose from, from script to stencil.
  • Pick the dice, pips and initial, tray and name on the tray colours.
  • Adjust dice size and how many dice.
  • Turn on or off: A tray to roll them in and fill the pips in a second colour.

What you download

An STL for any slicer, and a 3MF with each colour as its own part, ready for an AMS or a filament change.

Printing it

The dice print on a face with no supports (the 6 face down, its pips bridge); the tray the right way up. With "fill the pips" on, the pips and initial print flush in a second colour (use an AMS); with it off, they’re sunk in to paint or leave plain.

Questions

Do the dice still roll fair?

They’re for fun: the pips and initial are shallow and the dice solid, but they’re not casino dice.

Can I have more than one?

Yes: up to six dice with the one tray.

Do I need a multi-colour printer?

No. Print it in one colour, or in colours with a filament change: the Colours line under the 3D view says at which height to change. With an AMS or another multi-colour printer, the 3MF prints it in one go.

Which printers and slicers does it work with?

Any FDM printer. The STL opens in every slicer; the 3MF keeps the colours as separate parts in Bambu Studio, Orca Slicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura. Pick your printer in the designer to check it fits the plate.

Can I sell what I make?

On Pro and Ultimate you can sell the prints you make, for example on Etsy or at craft fairs. On Free and Maker, print it for yourself or give it as a gift. The STL and 3MF files themselves are never for sharing or selling.
